The AM/FM is a common VHF transmission mode. AM/FM bands are less prone to disturbances and interferences assuring a clear transmission and reception of signals. AM/FM antennas are often used to listen to radio stations also during navigation.
RA1281 is a very solid AM-FM antenna, made of UV resistant synthetic rubber, and is 300mm (12’’) high.
